We are proud to announce the acquisition of our first operation in the Centre Val de Loire region last November.

This acquisition was one of the biggest carried out in the Centre region in 2021. It was made possible by the involvement of the SAFERs (state rural land agencies) of both départements concerned and of the legal and technical teams, both in-house and external, coordinated by Atlanterra Agriculture Durable.

The land in the Indre département extends over nearly 650 hectares (1,606 acres), of which 310 hectares under agricultural cultivation, 300 hectares of forest and 29 hectares of ponds.

Our project is based on three main paths:

  • Continuation and improvement of the current crop growing: permanent pasture (hay), triticale, wheat and sunflowers.
  • An ecological forestry management plan inspired by conservation and improvement of biodiversity.
  • Launching our pilot project to produce hazelnuts sustainably.

To see all these projects through to a successful conclusion our Atlanterra experts will certainly be called upon, assisted by our privileged partners.
